The Annual Fresher's party is the one event where you can completely let your hair down! Freshers get a chance to interact with the Campus Director, staff and students of the outgoing batch. The party also sees a plethora of cultural performances and is a good starting point for students to build their social networks without being shy or apprehensive. And like in most fresher's parties, we also choose a Mr. and Ms. Fresher, who are judged on the basis of personality, repartee and intelligence.

The WLCI Fashion School organizes an annual Fashion Show for graduating students in major metros of the country. This is a crucial event for all fashion students as they get to showcase their creations in front of the who's-who of the fashion industry. This highly publicized event also brings together eminent fashion designers, diplomats, heads of multinational brands and others from the fashion / apparel industry on the lookout for the most promising young designer.

Our industry partners come together to provide a platform to young designers looking to break through into the fashion industry and ensure the show is a thundering success. The WLCI Fashion Show gets a wide variety of media coverage every year. Who knows, your creation may lead you to the big league from just this event!

Infinite Possibilities is the annual exhibition of graduating designers of WLCI Design School to showcase their artwork. The exhibition brings together a large number of industry experts, graphic designers, art lovers, advertising and media personalities on the lookout for young talent. Students in Advanced and Professional modules get a chance to exhibit their work and can meet, collaborate and interact with industry professionals. All showcased projects are selected after a rigorous assessment carried out by an internal and external jury consisting of Academic Mentors and reputed professionals from the Design, Advertising, Publication, Web and Animation industry. The best Creative Works are also awarded by eminent personalities at the event.

SHOWTIME is an annual two-day event that showcases the talent of young Media professionals from the WLCI Media School and that of other Media colleges. 'Showtime' is a platform for students to present their creativity and professional skills in digital film making before a galaxy of eminent filmmakers and reputed technicians and academicians. It has a competitive section as well as one for screening films made by students. Jury members select the best films for the year in specific categories and the award is given by an eminent Bollywood professional.

Another exciting element of your learning at WLCI will be going on Industrial visits. Students of Business Economics have a great opportunity to visit shop floors, assembly lines and have interactive sessions with industry personnel. Not only are these visits great for networking but they also give you first hand exposure to business processes. Students of design/fashion/media get an opportunity to visit fashion export houses, newspaper offices, television studios and advertising agencies for an actual feel of the creative work environment. These visits expose them to various organizations and their working styles while allowing them to interact with veterans of their respective fields.

WLCI's Exchange Programmes are brilliant tools that allow students to study in a cross-cultural academic environment, live in and explore a new city/country as well as develop their social and professional network. The exchange programmes are arranged by the college with Wigan and Leigh College in UK and the Paris Graduate School of Management amongst others. Every year we also have students from these institutions coming to our Indian campuses to study part of the course. WLCI campuses within India also enter into intra-exchange programmes. This gives you an opportunity to interact with and learn from faculties and industry experts in other campuses. You also develop a network of friends while you study and compete with your peers from other campuses. This is also especially useful if you are keen on exploring market conditions in various cities and how they differ from your home base.

As much as we hate to say it, there will come a time when you leave college to tackle bigger and brighter frontiers. Yet in our own way we honor your having spent your academic life with us, in a fun-filled farewell party. The event is truly emotional for you as well as for faculty members and Campus Directors who will be sad to see you leave just as much as you would yourself be - but will wish you the best for your future in this nostalgic event.
